Hospitality Training Australia | Sydney offers affordable hospitality short courses at convenient locations at both its Sydney and Parramatta training centres. Our team of industry experienced trainers, led by our centre manager Stephen Brophy offer essential certificates and qualifications that you need to gain employment in New South Wales.
As a registered training organisation, identifier 6372, we are accredited with the Australian Skills Qualification Authority as listed on www.training.gov.au
We offer the RSA in Sydney on a daily basis. Currently, this course is delivered 8 times per week between 9.30am to 4pm. You will require this course and an accredited Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing card to work in a pub, restaurant, hotel or other licensed venue across New South Wales.
Up to four time a week we deliver the Provide First Aid (Level 2). The course covers CPR, Emergency First Aid, essential techniques. The course is a pre requisite for many jobs and we offer the 7 hour course at both our Sydney and Parramatta Training Centres.
The food handling certificate is a 4 hour course and is offered fortnightly at our Sydney training centre or every 3 weeks at our Parramatta training centre. Food Safety Handler (Level 1) is a pre requisite to the unit of competence Implement Food Safety Procedures.
From early 2013, it is mandatory the food safety supervisors hold this qualification, as this will now be policed by council. The Food Safety Supervisor (Level 2) is offered immediately following its pre requisite unit, Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety SITXFSA101.
The New South Wales Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing requires that any person working within a gambling venue hold a current RCG. RCG Course Sydney & Parramatta are provided 3 times per week. The course is 6 hours in durations and costs start from $85.00 including your OLGR Card.
Coffee making within New South Wales, and in particular its main trading centres of Sydney and Parramatta require its staff to hold knowledge and skills in the many types of coffee and of course how to grind, filter and present coffee. The Coffee Course Sydney (Level 1) is a four hour introductory course that introduces participants to the bean, style of coffee, grinding, the coffee machine and its parts, set up and cleaning. The course is offered once per week and immediately following this morning session each participant can extend their course and participate in the Barista Coffee Art Course Sydney (Level 2). This additional 3 hours allows participants to practice the skills they develop in the morning. Each Friday, you can attend supervised coffee making sessions where you can practice making many coffees for our students and gain valuable work experience.
Bar Operations, Cocktails & Waiter
Once you have an RSA, RCG, Coffee and First Aid course then Bar Operations, Cocktail Preparation & Service and the professional The Professional Waiter course offer the chance to develop competence in how to operate a bar, pour alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, make great tasting cocktails and learn to carry plates, set tables, take orders and point of sale operation. Our courses run monthly and provide participant with employment outcomes.
