Byblos Bar & Restaurant located on Portside wharf, Hamilton, Brisbane, is seeking a well organized and passionate individual to join our kitchen brigade, to work directly with the head chef in the daily operations of the kitchen.

Byblos is renowned for its authentic Lebanese cuisine, from delicate hand made pastries, premium grilled meats, dips, breads and traditional dishes prepared by talented cooks dedicated to serving fantastic quality food.

We are looking for a strong and willing cook to join the team of friendly cooks and assist in taking the food to the next level. Good organizational skills, attitude and a willingness to develop your knowledge for the Lebanese cuisine is essential. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to undertake a managerial roll, looking after the kitchen in the absence of the head chef whilst also becoming a strong support and be responsible for quality control, organization and general day to day running of the kitchen.

We have developed a friendly working environment with a good team ethics and we look forward to interviewing the next person for this exciting roll.

A minimum of 5 Years working in a professional kitchen is essential, applicant must hold minimum of certificate 4 apprenticeship in hospitality or be able to demonstrate the necessary skills to operate at this level.
