Starting out as a one man operation, we’ve grown to become one of the best wholesale bread suppliers in Melbourne.
Founded by Antonio Cristiano in 1960, we’re a family-owned business built from humble origins. Starting life as a one man band, Antonio kick started the business by purchasing loaves of bread from a local bakery and making deliveries direct to homes. Later that year, Antonio purchased a shop in Union Road, Ascot Vale, where his wife Caterina sold groceries, and he expanded into grocery deliveries.
In 1961, Antonio purchased land in Glenroy and began building our wholesale bakery as we know it today. Once completed, the first staff were employed, and Antonio’s dream had became a reality.
Over the years we’ve diversified into the production of wholesale baked goods, and become one of the premier wholesale bread suppliers in Melbourne. Over the past 50 years we’ve grown to such an extent that we now employ 80 staff and have a fleet of operational delivery vans.
