Chef of the Year is a competition that gives you a chance to showcase your skills, promote your restaurant, network with fellow professionals and win a share of $10,000 cash and prizes.
Chef will compete against chef and the clock in a test of creativity, culinary knowledge and ingenuity. Chefs have one hour to prepare two signature dishes using sponsors products from a mystery box of ingredients.
This annual competition attracts entries from professional chefs from around Australia. There is a strict set of criteria, and a team of culinary experts to judge the winner. It is the most highly regarded and competitive professional chef event in the country.
The competition will be held from 27 February - 1 March 2022 at Foodservice Australia in Melbourne. Applications will close on 31 January, and finalists will be announced on 8 February.
