Our story begins in a small outlet based in Cheltenham back in 1995 by a small group of bakers. After much progress Eduardo Rato decided to purchase Jurgens Swiss Bakery in 2003 and currently operates it as a family owned business.
Mr Rato has 40 years of extensive business experience, having previously owned Bernard’s Bakery and also Tiago Poultry. Paul(son-in-law) and Nelissa(daughter) are actively involved in the success of Jurgens with the vision to continuously grow the current legacy and have acquired shares within Jurgens.
Jurgens Swiss Bakery recently relocated to Dandenong, having built brand new facilities at South Park, Dandenong, in order to cater for our ongoing requirements to meet our client’s expectations.
At the moment Jurgens currently holds approximately 1000 clients throughout Melbourne, with the idea of expanding the business into other avenues!
