The Yarra Valley Tea Company is a wholly owned Australian operation specializing in Certified Organic loose leaf teas and tisanes [herbal beverages]. Founded by Garrick Hicks and Meaghan Grace in 2006, the company is based at Coldstream in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. We source only the finest quality organic produce from local Australian growers together with the best Fairtrade/Certified Organic tea estates from across the seas. Each line is hand sorted and blended to ensure exacting taste and ultimate freshness as we only produce in small batches from regular harvests. Our tea manufacturing facility encompasses state of the art technology together with a ‘hands on’ approach. Freshness and consistency has long been a noted factor in our supply process as testimony from our more than 500 customer accounts.
In addition to our popular retail lines we also provide an extensive Tea Service utilizing our premium ingredients and coupled with an equally premium customer service ethic. We supply Australia’s finest resorts, restaurants, cafe’s and hole in the walls. We cater for all sizes, styles and demographics throughout the Food Service industry. Our range encompasses loose leaf tea’s and tisane’s together with loose leaf pyramid bags to suit all requirements. And yes…we manufacture everything on our own machines, in our own factory in Australia…not overseas!
