University Meat was established in 1960 by the now Chief Executive Officer, Eusebio (Joe) Marcocci OAM, who has been a major influence to shaping the foodservice sector with over 50 years involvement. Eusebio started his work as an apprentice butcher in the early 1950's, during the next decade he set up more than 55 retail butcher-shops which transformed into a wholesale business.
This traditional family business extended its roots from the Father to the sons where Loui and Alex Marcocci have been working alongside their father for the last twenty years. The Leading Victorian meat wholesalers, University Meat is known as a provider of top quality produce, who enjoys an extremely high reputation in the market serving prestigious clients and events across the State.
